The two minutes to get an ID get all the attention. The five minutes after the credentials arrive decide whether the first month goes smoothly. In order:

• Open the platform from the chat link only. Not from a search result, not from a forwarded message, not from a bookmark you made on a different site. The link in our WhatsApp thread is the platform; everything else needs verifying.
• Type the username and password by hand once. Copy-paste from WhatsApp often drags a trailing space along, and "login not working" is very often a space.
• Change the password immediately. The issued one has travelled through a chat; the one you set has not. Use something you don't use anywhere else.
• Check the balance equals your deposit. If it doesn't, screenshot it and message the desk before you place anything. Settling a balance question after a bet is harder than before one.

• A password you already changed. You changed it on the first login, as you should, and the phone remembered the old one. Try the new one before you ask for a reset.
• A moved platform domain. Platforms occasionally move addresses; the old one dies. Your provider will have the current link — ask.
• A genuinely locked ID. Rare, and usually after many wrong attempts. The desk unlocks it in a minute; nothing about your balance changes.

Whatever it is, send us a screenshot of the exact screen and the exact message. "It's not working" costs three more messages; a screenshot costs none. Three related situations, one answer: there is no reset link. Exchange platforms don't run email or SMS recovery for issued IDs. Recovery goes through your provider, which is a good thing — it means a stranger can't reset your account from a stolen email either.

• Forgotten password. Message the desk from the number the ID was issued to, give the ID name, and a fresh password comes back. Change it again after you're in.
• Lost or changed phone. The ID lives on the platform, not on the phone — nothing is lost. Log in from the new device with the same credentials; if you'd saved the password only in the old phone, it's a forgotten-password case, same fix.
